Daniela’s research concentrates on the intersection between Finance and Sustainability. In particular, she focuses on two streams: Responsible Investment – the inclusion of environmental, social, governance and controversial business involvement issues in traditional investment analyses and Development Finance – how finance can be made useful to address pressing social issues, especially in the context of third country migrants. Prior to her academic career, Daniela worked as an Investment Banker (Mergers and Acquisitions) at the Royal Bank of Scotland (formerly ABN AMRO) in the Netherlands and at Credit Suisse in the Philippines. She holds an MBA from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain and a BSc. in Management from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.
