Susana Esper

Susana Esper is an Assistant professor in CSR and business ethics at IESEG School of Management, France. She earned her PhD in Management from HEC Montréal (Canada).
Her research interests lie at the intersection of sustainability, strategic management, and organizational theory. She focuses on how decoupling and hypocrisy affect the implementation of sustainability strategies, at the macro, meso, and micro level. Her dissertation received the HEC Montréal Best Doctoral Dissertation Award 2019 and was finalist for the Society for Business Ethics Best Dissertation Award (2019) and for the SIM Doctoral Dissertation Award (AoM 2020). Her research has been published in Organization and featured in international conferences such as the Academy of Management and the European Group for Organizational Studies.
