Her research focuses on alternative ways of organizing for social purpose, such as social enterprises, cooperatives, and social-mission platforms. Her doctoral dissertation investigated the field of Belgian philanthropy and its institutional infrastructure and boundaries when it faced the arrival of platform-based newcomers. Her current postdoctoral project seeks to understand how and under what conditions alternative organizational practices are diffused to and adopted by conventional businesses. She presented her research at several conferences: EGOS, EMES, ISTR, and ERNOP among others.
