François received his PhD in 2010 from the Louvain School of Management at Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium. After a visiting scholarship at the University of California, Berkeley, he now works as a full professor at IESEG School of Management, in Lille, France, where he teaches strategy, business ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
In his research, François mainly focuses on topics linked to CSR learning, implementation and change-related processes, cross-sector social partnerships, and stakeholder influence strategies. He has published articles in international journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics, the California Management Review, or the International Journal of Management Reviews. He has co-edited several special issues of international journals and books on CSR-related topics, including “A stakeholder approach to corporate social responsibility: Pressures, conflicts, and reconciliation”. He is the co-coordinator of ICOR and lives in Brussels.
