Dr. Lucas Amaral Lauriano is an Assistant Professor of Change Management for Sustainability at IESEG School of Management. He received his PhD in Management from King’s Business School – King’s College London.
His current research is at the intersection of sustainability and employees. He investigates problems that occur when organizations try to implement sustainability. Three main lines of research emerge from this: (1) perceptions of hypocrisy from employees; (2) the marginalization of stigmatized employees (e.g. LGBTQIA+, ethnic groups); (3) and daily political fights between departments leading to a means-end decoupling in sustainability.
