Susana Esper is an assistant professor in CSR and business ethics at IESEG School of Management, France. Her areas of interest are corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, social sciences, strategic management, and organizational theory. She earned her PhD in Management from HEC Montreal (Canada). She analyzes how decoupling affects CSR and sustainability strategy implementation, at the macro, meso, and micro-level. Her dissertation received the HEC Montréal Best Doctoral Dissertation Award 2018 and was finalist for the Society for Business Ethics Best Dissertation Award (2019) and for the SIM Doctoral Dissertation Award (AoM 2020). Her research has been published in Organization and featured in international conferences such as the Academy of Management and the European Group for Organizational Studies.
Her areas of interest are corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, corporate political activity, organizational theory and strategy. She also has an interest in developing countries.
